I dont understand this whole patriots cheating thing. So lets say they determine that the patriots deflated balls to improve the grip for themselves and they used balls for the colts offense that were inflated to regulation. Lets then say that the NFL does punish them, as they should, but leave the punishment for this offseason with loss of draft picks? Now I know that the colts would have lost either way, however, why is the punishment so lax? If I am in a competition of sorts and was found to have cheated, what would have happened to me? I would have been disqualified, not that my punishment would be carried out after I had won and got to keep my prize. If it is determined that the pats cheated, and go on to win a super bowl, wont we all feel a bit cheated? Roger Goodell needs to make an example of hoodie and throw them out of the playoffs, not take away a draft pick that doesnt really matter to them anyways. This should be a rule, you cheat, youre disqualified.
