I dont understand why we go through such extremes. Even when I was growing up there was the black student council, It sort of bothered me then and I find this bothers me now. Why does everything and every body have to have a label? White and straight isnt mentioned and I dont think it should be. I dont really want attention brought to me or my family. I have a bunch of kids. I wouldnt put a poster on my door that said you are now entering a house where we have excepted several different races, mental disorders, physical and cognitive deficits.. I have a Son that likes the feeling of tights on his legs and occasionally wears a tutu. He hasnt said, but he may be a cross-dresser. I dont find the poster offensive but I also dont find it necessary. If you really want to label things there is so much more to be said. I would hope that the Catholics, Baptists and the non-denominational kids there would be safe. What about the democratic and the republican kids? are they safe? Then of course there are the thin, fat, short tall, athletic, clumsy, honor and special Ed students, I would want them to be safe too. Merry Christmas too all you Christians, Happy Hanukkah to those who maybe Jews, Kwanza to the African Americans, and to all those that dont believe in anything just make it through the day! See what I mean?
