I dont usually complain on Facebook but I need to get this out! I am so fet up with trainers out there giving us a bad name, I hear time and time again this horse has been to several trainers and I still cant ride it I start to work with the horse and he knows almost nothing.... if you are a trainer and dont know how to teach a horse a concept and build on that then please stop training, anyone can get a horse to do something based on a reactive response but that doesnt stay in the horse as knowledge, it stays as fear...and if you are gonna say its because the owner doesnt know how to ride the horse as well as u do thats a cop out, if you have done your job right the horse should be able to think their way thru and figure it out! Training a horse in the first 30, 60, 90 days should be based on teaching concepts of maneuvers and making sure the horse is thinking their way thru it, not reacting their way thru... I would put my children on any of the horses I have trained that havent been previously messed up by other trainers... just sayin
