I dont usually hang on to stuff... but... I have a good job, good health insurance and Im responsible with my money. So to know I now have a $500 bill because the emergency room I had to go to 8 months ago uses doctors that have the choice not to be in network and therefor charge whatever they want... and insurance wont cover it. That is just wrong! I even asked if they were in network... of course they responded meaning the hospital was. What the heck good does the hospital being in network do if the doctors arent and if the bill had been bigger, which most bills are... imagine someone could be seriously financially hurt with credit report ruined (as they note on the bill) and it is beyond anything they could have done about it. That is not right. Laws need to be addressed.... in network doctors need to be offered otherwise what is the point of health insurance!
