I do not recommend the Trifexis product for heartworm and flea prevention, even if it is not responsible for the reported illnesses and deaths, it is a sub-standard quality product. I was given samples at the vet hospital I worked at, the pills were huge, the dogs refused to eat them, and for the first time in over 20 years I ended up with a flea infestation that took almost a year to fully resolve.
