I dont usually vent on here BUT........ Putting the house up for sale because we cant afford BOTH a house payment plus medical insurance premiums after Colleen gets terminated at the end of her FMLA benefits next month. COBRA costs about $750 per month for just Colleen. Havent we all been hearing that under Obamacare it is already illegal for an insurance company to deny coverage for pre-existing condition? Yeah right! Just try and find some coverage with a cancer diagnosis. Its illegal for the COMPANY to deny you coverage but the BROKER sure as hell can! They wont even take an application. Guess its COBRA or Obamacare.....if they ever figure out how to work the website! Already getting buried in uncovered medical bills and we have insurance now. Colleen deserves to be treated better than this crap. Just feeling a little pissed off. Sorry.
