I dont want any of my buddies that are Rappers or are into Hip Hop taking this the wrong way I love you guys and have always respected you. Its you who have made me see the intelligent side of Hip Hop and I am grateful to you for that. I like to surround myself with intelligent like minded people no matter what yer into.That being said I feel as tho Ebonics and Rap lingo have become common place socially and Professionally,be it, Texting,Facebook,E-Mails or general social conversation among people. It really gets to me in a big way and shows how we have been dumbed down by the media and are so easily influenced by It. I understand Ebonics has its place. I have even read stories of kids in the projects being taught subjects in schools by teachers using ebonics to communicate with them and they respond to it. Seriously tho, if you are a person who has a perfect grasp of the english language and are capable of speaking proper english but are afraid to talk or communicate like an intelligent human because yer friends will think yer a geek or nerd then you should evaluate who you surround yourself with. I find it stems from the people you hang around also. So pls be an example to others and show them that it IS STILL COOL TO TALK NORMALLY. I urge you to pick up a book (Lots of Intelligently written and Grammatically correct Cannabis books out there) and let the intelligent human take over your mind.
