I dont want to be that guy, but Im going to be. There are PLENTY of valid complaints and misappropriations of justice that can serve as rallying cries for those seeking change within the police department. However, Vonerrick Meyers Jr.? 1.) Currently, everyone knows he ran after being approached. I dont claim I know everything about being racially profiled, but running in general from cops is a good way to look REALLY suspicious. 2.) Ballistics reports said he fired a gun 3 times at the officer. A gun which if I remember correctly, was recovered. His parents said it was a sandwich. -_- 3.) Why would you pick a Quick Trip to set up shop? Everyone knows one got burnt down and looted in Ferguson. If youre Quick Trip you KNOW if you see a mob of protestors heading your way youre hitting the Oh Shit alarm. Again, there are things that need to change in St.Louis and the country at large. But if you EVER want to get the change youre looking for it needs to be WAY less haphazard than it is now. The media needs to quit stirring the pot, and people need to be VERY choosey who they get behind.
