I dont want to glorify the days I grew up but really it was a day of innocence....you never had to worry about suggestive scenes or crude language on TV. The movies did have some violence such as shooting cowboys and Indians or a cop thriller but the graphic images were not vivid displays of blood and guts etc. the cartoons were classic, Bugs Bunny or Popeye. My Saturdays were high lighted by Baseballs game of the week. We didnt have the internet with all the questionable stuff or our parents never had to worry about who was talking to us.... Families prayed together, went to Church together. We prayed at school and said our pledge. Where have we gone?
