I dont want to respond directly to a guys post in favor of guns, but a picture of scratched walls in Nazi concentration camps really isnt good anti-gun-control rhetoric. The guy means well, is Jewish, etc., (Im relatively mild in my gun control beliefs) but it saddens me. Had Germanys Jews been armed theyd have stood no chance against Hitlers mechanized army, no more than any of us could stand agains the US government, or Cliven Bundy if anybody wanted to really force the issue. (Equating Bundy with Germanys 1930s Jews, which the Auschwitz rhetoric does...(dont shoot the reader) now theres a sick one) The naivete, the ignorance about power, is astounding, and if anything the desperation implicit in believing an armed Jewish population wouldve made any difference just seems profoundly tragic and hopeless and sad sad sad sad sad. Huge nation states ALWAYS suck because they exist always and only at the expense of the individual...unlike tribes, which exist through the cooperation of individuals who know each other.
