I dont want to seem pretentious or like Im bragging, but can I share a little bit of my heart with you? I honestly tear up every month when I take Seth to the orthodontist to get his braces tightened. Weve known since his first trip to the dentist as a toddler that he would have to have braces one day and we dreaded the expense of it. After all, we have 4 kids and all the expenses that come with them, a mortgage, we had cars to pay for, credit card debt, medical bills out the wazoo, and I was a stay at home mom, so we had one income. And...a kid who needed braces... Last year when I took him for the first visit I paid for the whole thing in cash. $4,000. Paid in full. No payments every month when we go. We arent called into the finance ladys office like the other parents. Its done. I was able to do that because of my little Skinny Wrap business. In fact, every time I see a parent walk in and sit at the finance ladys desk I say a prayer for them to be able to pay for their childs braces...and a prayer of thanks that I have this business in my life that allowed me to afford them for my child. Knowing that 3 years ago these monthly tightening visits wouldve been such a stressor for us makes the blessing of having it already paid that much sweeter! Im feeling very blessed today.
