I dont wear high heel shoes out of concern for twisting an ankle - TopicsExpress

I dont wear high heel shoes out of concern for twisting an ankle and not being able to run. I eat a low fat, high protein diet to keep my weight down and my muscle tone up. I cut my hair so that it stays out of my eyes when I run and switched to contacts because running in glasses is just annoying. I dont have a lot of fancy dress clothes but do own a dozen pairs of running shoes and 5 drawers full of running clothes. My everyday wardrobe consists of tshirts from past races and I have an entire rack devoted to headlamps, hats, and earmuffs and a chest full of miscellaneous running items. I schedule my appointments around my long runs and 90% of my reading material consists of running books and magazines. I can quote Born To Run but have lost count of how many races I have ran. Im pretty sure I might need an intervention!
