I don’t know about the rest of you but I am sick of our Government. Not just President Obama, but both the Republican and Democratic parties. I just returned from Russia where I have worked since last November. Since President Obama got elected I have been in Angola for 3 ½ years and Russia. However, I have worked with people from all over the world. I have never been so embarrassed to hear the people I have worked with to say just how screwed up the United States is right now. We, “The People”, used to have a word to say about our rights and religion. Now we have attacks on both. I live in Florida and not that far from Sanford where the tragic death of Travon Martin happened. Even though the Martin’s family lawyer, the FBI and the Sanford police department says his death was not “RACE” related, the news media and top leaders, both political and religious, say it is a “RACE” related killing. What is this all about? Stop and think about all of the murders in Chicago, Detroit, New York and other big cities that you never hear about. Most are blacks killing other blacks. Why is this administration not doing something about it? Why did we not hear anything about a 17-year-old black teenager killing a white baby in Knoxville, Tennessee? Why did we not hear about a 17-year-old white boy, or “CHILD”, that was killed in South Carolina by black men? It never got passed local news. Now, those of you who think I am going against blacks, you are wrong. I am going against both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. And, most of all, against, “Hollywood”. Who do these people think they are? Just because they are movie stares does not make them “ROOLERS OF OUR COUNTRY”. Some of the things that these people have come out with is not just ridicules but totally insane. What hurts the most is, young people will believe them. In the past 30 to 40 years I have been in over 30 countries. I have always been a proud American and always will be. However, now I am not sure just how proud I will be. What saddens me the most is everything that Dr. King did, not just for black people, but for “ALL” of us. He was a great and powerful man. Why don’t this administration not realize this? The Al Sharptons, Jesse Jacksons and others are destroying everything Rev. King did. Again, I do not agree with the politicians we have in Washington. As far as I am concerned, get rid of “The Speaker Of The House”, he sucks. Harry Reid should have retired a long time ago. I could go on and on, but I won’t. I just want all AMERICANS, to come together and get our country back to a where it used to be. Barry Brewer Pt. St. John, Florida
