I don’t know where to start. It just doesnt get any better than this. I dont think ANY breeder ever expects to win their breeds National Specialty. We wish, we dream, but we don’t expect it. To win the ACKCSC National Specialty with Sonny, my homebred black and tan dog who is so very dear to my heart, and be the very first wholecolor to do so is just beyond words. And with an entry of +/- 350 Cavaliers! What an honor! Thank you Judge Jeanie Montford, for fulfilling my dream as a breeder owner exhibitor! Thank you ACKCSC: Patty Kanan, Rick Alexander, Bettina Sterling, Stephanie Sterling and your entire show committee for putting on a fabulous 20th Anniversary Specialty Show. Special thanks to Stephanie Abraham and Judy Gates! Thanks to everyone who was there for the astounding ringside support! Sonny loves the applause and the cheers! Thank you Jennifer Cerulli for allowing me to breed to your beautiful Jonathon (Sonnys sire). Most of all, thank you Sonny for doing what you do and never letting me down. How wonderful to see so many owner handlers and breeder-owner handlers in the final line up! Congratulations to all the winners, especially my friend Cavaliers Kean with her astounding Violet. Right now I have to get back to the reality of messy 8 week old puppies and giving my husband Ashley a well-deserved break from dog sitting.
