I don’t miss the moody principal; don’t miss the awful - TopicsExpress

I don’t miss the moody principal; don’t miss the awful tests; Don’t miss the drama in the halls or daily gossip fest! Don’t miss the piles of paperwork or duty in the rain, Nor do I miss the stress that was so taxing on the brain. I’m not sad to leave the noise or messiness that’s there; I so don’t miss the times when things were anything but fair; The food they served, I do not miss with all that dang whole wheat! But what I do miss most of all---the students in their seats. I miss their smiles and laughter, their eagerness to learn; I miss the sharing, caring, and the wait to take their turn. I think about them often and I pray that God will lead Each teacher there to do her best to teach them all to read And understand the many things expected of them there. I am retired, but never think, I left and didn’t care!! Potty Poet
