I don’t play the games that are available on Facebook; it’s just not my thing. I am aware that many of you do like to play them so I designed a little game I think you might enjoy. Here’s how it works. I’m going to present you with a series of scenarios after which you have to decide which is true and which is not true. You can post your answers on Facebook or send me an email if you prefer. For all those who participate I will reveal the answers on Sep 6th. Let’s go! Scenario #1 - A small Mom & Pops Deli opened their doors and in a short period were doing so well they were thinking of expanding. A couple came in for lunch; they ordered a sandwich, soft drink and a bag of chips ea. As they turned to sit down the man turned and said make mine kosher and hold the mayo. The sandwich maker informed the man that they didn’t sell kosher meats. The customer handed the sandwich maker a card and said either kosher or I’ll see you in court. At the present time the Deli is defending itself against a Discrimination Investigation. Scenario #2 - A Middle Eastern couple newly arrived in the US decided to open a small meat market. After a few days of being open a Police Officer and an irrate customer entered the store. The Police Officer proceeded to put a “Closed Until Further Notice” sign on the door. When asked what was wrong the Officer stated the owners were under investigation of Discrimination for refusing to sell a pork roast the irate customer. The owner tried to explain they were Muslim and handling pork was against their religion. The shop is currently still closed. Scenario #3 - A small bake shop, specializing in wedding cakes, in Oregon was forced to close its doors. It all started when the owners refused to make a cake for a lesbian wedding on the grounds it would violate the owner’s religious beliefs. Media reported the owners received hate mail, threats of rape and murder and are currently under an investigation of discrimination. Scenario #4 - A fourteen year old girl charges an Oregon store with discrimination. It all started when a teenage girl celebrating her birthday went to the local mall to celebrate with a shopping spree. The young girl was about to purchase some perfume with her birthday money, when a store employee came up to her and said, “Hey your too big to be shopping in this store, I need you to leave.” The store is now under a discrimination investigation. GOOD LUCK!
