I don’t think I’ve ever said this about Thanksgiving Eve before: It is CRAZY out there!! I’ve been to three super savers trying to find one with an Animal Ambassador’s food donation barrel (I‘ve seen them all the time, till the night I go to donate, did find a pretty empty one at the 56th Hwy 2 store) - and the parking lots are teeming with people prowling for the parking spot, trying to get carts and kids back to the car in one piece, horns are honking, I found my self in between cars trying to leave and park, hoping to not get in a serious squeeze play. In another lot I was running in, around and through cars stacked up vying for parking spaces opening up muttering, “I’m running for my life!!” I don’t think I’ve even seen Christmas like this. This kid’s first “I’m thankful for…” item is: getting home safe and sound - both me and my car - and I got my pet food donation made -- and now it’s time to get ready for the holiday fun!
