I dream of a Nigeria where Human Rights are not just respected - TopicsExpress

I dream of a Nigeria where Human Rights are not just respected but tenaciously preserved. Where the police protect citizens, not torment and terrorize them like were scantily seeing. Where I dont have to write my ethnic group while signing any forms Where sponsors of violence and sponsors of violence replace the helpless inmates who only committed traffic offences Where my child would ask me to buy her a fabric with national colours not for a match past but for cheer national pride. Where I would stop treating #5 as an abomination of a paper currency. Where the best farmer in my village becomes the councillor, not the best gangster. Where a medical doctor, a teacher, an inventor, and talented people dont feel cheated by greedy politicians. This isnt a recitation you think it is. Its a burning desire. Its a mental clinging that comes with unpalatable boos and stigmatization. But its no longer just a dream. Its a collective possibility. Long live Nigeria.
