I dream of a world.... where people ( and friends ) dont expect ( or try ) to get free or cheap work by me by taking advantage of my niceness. Im slowly but surely starting to become not as nice of a person. When people do that, it makes me feel like my work isnt worth what the original price is.....and I hear from way to many other people that its worth way more. Im confident now that those people hassling me like this can just go somewhere else and I will still have plenty of other real art collectors that actually appreciate me and my work. People that do this to me remind me of when I was serving on kids eat free days and people coming in and making a gigantic mess and running me to freaking death only to tip me barely anything because their kids ate free so they felt they should just tip a percentage of the ONE cheap ass meal they purchased. Same thing to me. Im not a server anymore, i dont have to put up with it. Im not gonna work myself ragged for people that dont appreciate what Im doing for them. I have more people that pay full price for my work that show me more appreciation and even tip me on top of it than any friend or other person Ive tried to help out or people that tried guilt tripping me have. Point being..... Im about to start blocking people that try to do this. I dont deserve it. Sorry if this seems harsh but its a stress Ive decided to rid myself of for good.
