I dreamt Gilles Silberzahn, the French exchange student my family hosted when I was in high school, and some of his family were in town. I visited them in an old hotel that seemed french and it seemed more like we were in the Mediterranean. It was really hot, and his sister asked someone working at the hotel if they could turn on the air conditioning. So the woman brought out the air conditioning menu--you ordered it like food. Gilles sister chose to have it on for 40 minutes for $250. One of the kids with Gilles family, maybe a niece, was a young adopted Chinese girl who was running around babbling in French. The actress Sandra Oh happened to be in the hotel, and stopped by to comment how cute the little girl was. Gilles mother was there, but in the dream she was the soap star actress Susan Lucci, and she was wearing a really shiny gold dress. I told her I wanted to go back to France with her, but needed to figure out how to take all of my pets with me. There was another group of people near us, and I recognized one of the men. It was Iris Celebi-Aikens old boyfriend Jamie, from college--I met him when we were living in Nice, France and he came to visit her. I talked to him for a bit and asked if he ever saw Iris, and said that she and I are facebook friends, and that shes a nurse.
