I drew a nine on this sharing thing so here goes. 1. I was a bit of a smart ass as a teen and stayed just out side of going to jail until I quit school at 16 and got married. At that point I got a mega dose in reality and maturity. 2. I got my first car at 15 in 1963. It was a 1946 ford two door sedan. Dropped in the front end with frenched head lights, twin sunken frenched antennas, frenched 59 Cadillac taillights, reversed rims, and nerf bars. It was painted black with a picture of the comic book ghost Spooky painted on both sides with the name Spooky painted above the picture. It was a cool looking ride, but is broke down almost every time I drove it. I learned a lot about cars just keeping that thing running. 3. My Dad was a 25 year Army man so we moved every three years or so. After he retired and went to work flying as a civilian we still ended up moving every three ears or so due to his job changing and transferring. This helped me learn how to adjust to new people and surroundings easily. 4. One of my brothers has been a professional Guitar player since he was 16. He has traveled all over the country and been abroad playing. During his career he has played with big names like Elvis Presley, The Hollywood Argyles, and so many others I cant name. He has been in movies and still plays guitar professionally today in his 70s. He has done everything from Rock, Country, Classical, and Jazz. Jazz is his favorite. 5. I attended completed two Technical schools, completed High school, and took some collage courses. I have about 35 Aircraft and Helicopters schools under my belt. I was The Aircraft Technician of the Year for the State of Arkansas in 1995. 6. I had a helicopter crash about 100 feet from me when we were doing helicopter burning in the woods. I had to extinguish the fire and get the pilot out of the cabin before it got out of control. He was hurt really bad, but did make a full recovery after about three months. The helicopter was scrap metal. Training is a good thing. I got praises and awards heaped on me for the way I handled that situation. I told them that when you are trained well and a situation like that happens you go right through it on auto pilot. Take emergency and fire training seriously. It can mean the difference in someones life. Perhaps even yours. 7. I love riding motorcycles and horses. I love cars with enough power to pull the earth out of orbit. I have a 2013 Dodge R/T that is so fast when it takes off at full throttle the earth rotates under it. (Just kidding) But it is fast and comfortable. 8. We have three dogs, one canary and two parrots. I like cats, but I dont have one right now. 9. The Lord has taken care of me and I am thankful for that. I have been through many issues where without the strength he supplies I would have failed. Every time I approach a task I ask for his guidance and the ability to do it properly and safely. I always pray that no harm will come to anyone for anything I have done or neglected to do. My wife Connie is having a horrible time with her Diabetic Neuropathy and cannot walk or stand with out assistance. I pray that she will recovery her strength and balance, but at the same time I am thankful that God has kept me strong enough to be able to help her and take care of her. So many times we have blessings right under our noses and we cant see them because of our own pity party.
