I drop her off she hops out of the car I wave good bye to daddys bright eyed litte girl I say I love you sweetheart Ill see you next week Then she runs back for one more kiss on the cheek In that parking lot where me and her momma meet Its bittersweet how much I care it gives me hope it brings me joy then it rips and tears my heart in to when my time is up ive never hurt so bad because Ive never loved so much.. Driving off gets me everytime cause I just left the best part of me behind I reach and turn that rear view mirror away from me cause I cant stand to look at her empty car seat god only knows what that does to me... I use to run through that front door straight on her back her room and beside her bed I drop down on my knees and say Lord you know Im thankful and everyday Im more grateful for that little gift you chose to give to me... B.Poole. J Jimmy Yeary We wrote this for every person who has to live it. The excitement of picking them up to the hell and hurt you go through when you drop them off. I know how you feel. I did it for years and every time was worse than the time before!!! It never gets nor did it ever get an easier. My heart hurts for anyone who has to live it!!! Thank God above I dont have to anymore, but my heart still hurts for those who do.. God Bless and hang in there. JUDD
