I encountered a bus driver who asked me about my anti-pipeline pin upon my coat and when I told him Im opposed to Enbridges Northern Gateway pipeline he replied: Oh, I work in the oil industry, so dont even mention that to me, now, my first thought was, what are you talking about, you asked me about it! but on closer inspection of the situation I realized that these people dont want to listen to their victims. They want to ruin our planet with pipelines and oil spills in the ocean, which caused several BC families, yes, including children to become severely ill (profuse vomiting, etc.) but the people responsible at enbridge dont want to have to look at the victims, hear their stories or have to face the consequences of what theyre doing. Not only are they monsters, but theyre cowards, too. This furthered my resolve to fight them on this pipeline and I invite everyone else to join, as well.
