I end my week with true fullness... as I walk through days of continued uncertainty, one thing I am certain about is that I am so grateful for the work I get to do on a daily basis. To have been part of leading a love filled retreat with some amazing youth staff and to facilitate a training to build the knowledge skills and awareness to dialogue around identity, power, privilege, internalized oppression and superiority...... to bond daily through heart connections, to spend time in laughter and fun combined with deep reflection and action....... To have presented to a group of health and wellness directors about shifting our approach to incorporate a social justice framework and work towards greater health equity........To have presented to over 70 school guidance counselors about the importance of community engagement and collaboration to ensure student success and educational equity. And getting steps closer to finally completing the Middle School Curriculum I am writing....
