I enjoyed this article (enough to overlook the misuse of its at least 3x). I have been a church musician since the tender age of 13. I have been involved with traditional and contemporary worship music. I have also been involved in blended worship... On a personal note, sometimes I want to sing Your love never fails sometimes I want to sing A Mighty Fortress is Our God; sometimes I need to connect to God on an emotional level, sometimes a theological one. Sometimes I find connection with God through music that doesnt have either of these labels. In my heart, music is music and thats how I communicate, connect, feel, share my beliefs....I often wonder how we will deal with these labels once we are in heaven and before our Lord and Savior. I can only imagine how my heart will sing ....
