I expect this post will cause controversy but, frankly, I dont care. The fad of kids of riding mini bikes in parks and on roads should be stopped. The playing field of Arncliffe Park is not meant to be a mini bike track. Every afternoon kids can be found riding on it. What does this do to the playing surface? Well, its not doing it any good, thats for sure. So if the Council closes the field to soccer, dont be surprised. The other issue is mini bikes being ridden on the road. No rego, no helmet, no lights! Yes, it does happen after sunset. The probability of this practice having tragic consequences is very high. If you see kids doing this please discourage them.
