I feel blessed. For weeks I have felt like Cinderellas poor - TopicsExpress

I feel blessed. For weeks I have felt like Cinderellas poor cousin - only my curfew was not midnight but sunset. And it was not a prince that would follow me, but a cop. I learned about my tag light being out when one stopped me and gave me a warning. He was nice and all, but that didn’t mean that I would be so lucky if it were to happen again. So, I could not be driving at night. Had to rush home by sunset. Before daylight saving time, it had to be before 7pm. Now, it was by 5:45. I never realized how soon the dark comes in Central FL! All advice I sought said it seemed to be a short circuit somewhere and had to be located by Honda, since it was electrical. Honda told me they charge $105 just to check! Ouch! So, I designated yesterday afternoon to visit Honda, after a class I am taking at my church. The class is called Compass (really cool. It’s about handling your finances). At the end of each session, we give our prayer requests. Mine was that my visit to Honda would not hurt so much! At this point, my fellow classmates gave me advice, and one actually asked to check it out. He does vehicle maintenance for a company. Not only did he check my car out, when we parted, he went online and looked for info on the Honda Cuivic. Turns out that a common problem that this car has is that the cable/wire/whatever for the tag light tends to unravel at some point. He called me and asked that I return. Spent an hour looking for that broken sucker and then fixed it. That was so immensely kind of him! So, my prayer was answered. And I can run a few more errands after work! It can take only one afternoon and not have to be every single day. Halleluiah!
