I feel compelled to repost this and clarify my position. No stereotypes, no name calling, just my opinion. Common sense is nowhere. In a previous post, I pointed out how sometimes people deny truth even when it spelled out right in front of their eyes. An agenda can cause one to deny obvious truth. My intention here is a simple one, to point out that the President contradicted himself, with his own words. If my intention is to uncover truth and honesty, then I start by being honest with myself. I am sadly disappointed with behavior exhibited by our leadership and even more so as obvious agendas become apparent. Meanwhile our nation is breaking, dividing along racial, political, religious and social lines in a manner the likes of which I have never witnessed in my life. Barack Obama campaigned on a platform of unification, instead we are more divided than ever making him a very polarizing figure. I am bitterly disappointed for in the beginning I was willing to give this man a chance to prove himself. His race bears no signifigance to my dislike for his policies and it troubles me to no end when Im accused of racism for disagreeing with those policies. As for the violent protests, I believe it is setting civil rights back fifty years and isnt serving anyone well. It is perpetrating the perceptions of stupidly and ignorance.
