I feel highly obligated at times to serve the society in such a way that it can bring long lasting positive impact. Else I will not be able to justify myself. Showing up with ministers and on public platforms can give a short lived fame but it does no good to society. I have been constantly thinking and writing proposals to the government in order to achieve this goal. One of the major concern is of women safety. I am shocked to see major places in India, where there is no clear cut names of the roads and streets. Even if there are names of the road, you dont see the signage for them. This leads to lot of problems. Imagine a women, who is asking for directions can become victim for a crime. Why should it be like this? Other than this imagine following problems: 1) Stopping again and again on street leads to traffic jams and may cause accidents. Also it gives opportunity to criminals to spot easy targets. 2)Looking for landmarks can be confusing. Driver focusing to identify the landmark will not be able to focus on driving and may cause accident and can be a reason for slow traffic, which creates nuisance. 3) GPS systems cannot be used effectively in the absence of road names. I am going to meet senior party leaders to propose this. We at Samajwadi party should brainstorm new ideas and bring to senior party leaders attention. And we should get them implemented. Always remember “ Dont ask what your country has done for you. Ask what you have done for your country.”
