I feel led to share this! There is someone who is fighting a deep depression and God wants you to know you are loved, in this moment, as you are, completely. From every strand of your hair to the deepest parts of your heart, you are precious and valuable to God. Even if you feel hopelessly alone, you are not. He is present with you, always. You can receive comfort, and truly know joy in knowing Jesus’ love for You and who He is. I’m telling you there is hope and you do not have to live without it. There is love that is perfect, constant, true, unending for you. There is freedom and healing from the depression, hopelessness, loneliness, the pain and sadness your heart is feeling. There is peace for your heart. And you don’t have to be alone, or get stuck in depression any longer. Jesus Christ cares for you, He is able to do anything in your heart. I know because He’s done it in mine. I know without Him I would have no hope and I would be depressed. I would be so hungry for love instead of secure in the love that I have found in Christ. It is the most amazing thing to be loved by Him. I want you to know that love as much as I get to; He has the same love for you. His love is what our hearts is searching for. His love is what we need. And His love is free, unconditional, completely by grace- He gives it to us. He chooses to love us. And it’s a really beautiful thing to experience. His love will change you heart when you truly experience it and receive it. A lot of times there are lies that we believe that get in the way- lies we are unworthy and couldn’t possibly be loved by Him, lies no one cares, lies that we’re just too far from Him to still receive grace over and over- but when we are met with the Truth, all those things break and we can open up our hearts to believe that He really does love us even more than we ever dared to believe. I just want you to know that I am praying that you would encounter and know and truly find Love in Him. Because He loves you. And He wants you to receive His love for you. And you don’t need to do a bunch of stuff to get His love. It’s not like that. Bring your heart to Him and see what He will do. Sometimes what we need more than anything is time alone with Him. I’d really encourage you to take that time. You are so loved. Know you are not alone. There is hope for you. The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.” - Psalm 145:17-19
