I feel like I am living in a resort. ohhhh, I am living in a resort. A $2,250 PER WEEK (in the summer) resort! I relate it to staying with my mother down in Florida for the winter; getting used to a new house, making it yours for a few months, packing, unpacking and packing again, using their furnishings, adding a few touches of your own....except, of course, Im missing the hot Florida sun and pool (hah!). Theres things I absolutely love at this lakehouse (like the gorgeous view here...breathtaking), the cuteness of the place, the warmth of the wood stove/fireplace, the fabulous neighbors whom are already friends of ours, the privacy (to a certain extent), and mostly the over abundance of kindness being showered on us by the owners here. I do NOT miss the guys hanging in all of our heated garages and smoking cigarettes (gag!!!), leaving all their beer cans laying all over and Dars ability to hoard in his garages. What I DO miss the most is living on a main thoroughfare where I can see all the excitement. Hopefully, when the lake freezes over, we will be able to see snowmobilers, skiers and the such out our front windows. Real soon, it will only be my friends with 4 wheel drives that will be able to come visit me. *sad* Course, you know me, Ill figure out a way to get them down in here!!!
