I feel like I died and went to Heaven. I am at my rehab. This is not just an ordinary rehab, they are the best is Boston and work directly with Harvard and BI. Already I met the pulmonologist who totally understood and further educated me about my atypical CF, he also was so smart and helped me understand more about my disease. They immediately changed my trach out....... We formed a great relationship, they know so much about TRacheal Bronchial Malacia as many of their patients who had surgery come here to recover. They have two full time physicians on staff around the clock. They have a big gym, they already took away a lot of my pain by changing my trach out. I think I burst into tears a thousand times as they explained things to me.....finally...finally..FINALLY I am in a place where my disease is known, even my rare CF disease, my Addisons everything ....the goal now is to get me in the best shape possible for surgery, I will start antibiotics next week. This may not be a big deal but to me, finally all my hard work and persistence paid off....I am in the best hands possible and they know their stuff....You have no idea how amazing it is...if I need to recover more after surgery I will come back here. I am sure I died and went to Heaven.... I learned today you dont order a cheeseburger in a kosher rehab! Duh!!!! So a impressed with all the team here as well!! BOSTON I love you, thank you God! And for extra love some of my friends I have been wanting to meet or see again live real close by !! Two weeks till surgery !
