I feel myself and other millennials have to accept that we cant - TopicsExpress

I feel myself and other millennials have to accept that we cant afford to live where we grew up. I drove on the Dulles Toll Road and through the Tysons Corridor on 495, and it was an overflowing tube of companies, businesses, and government offices. And yet I was still unemployed six months. =( Even with DC nearby. Im not exactly sure how I could go so wrong. I try not to let it get to me, but theres a very heavy resentment in knowing youve maintained your roots in your community for three decades, and are rewarded with barely getting your bills paid. Meanwhile, a whole butt load of people with no roots in the area clog the streets, complain about all the poor people, and worse, spend oogles of money and political capitol trying to sabotage the very Government that keeps the area pumping. Ill leave some day, though. Just wish the exit wasnt as expensive as the entrance.
