I feel so bad for the family of Robin Williams. What a tragedy and loss of such a wonderful talented man. Depression is a horrible disease and without proper treatment and that persons honesty in counseling, there is no end in sight. It just worsens and deepens until the day you are in a dark hole with no light in sight. I have dealt with depression and it is a genetic disease as well. As soon as I felt those crazy thoughts and horrible feelings I immediately called my doctor. I have way to much to be grateful for and to live for even through all the tragedies I have been dealt. I am no different than anyone else and do not deserve any better treatment than anyone else because of those tragedies. It is up to me and God to get through each day with a positive attitude. I still have days I get in a slump but they are much fewer and far between. I never miss my meds and if I feel I need to talk to someone...I do. My reason for this post is as you see even those people who seem to have it all deal with hell inside sometimes. If you ever feel like this or have bad thoughts especially suicide... Please please call your doctor. Get help..you are not alone nor are you crazy. You are actually a normal human being trying to deal with todays world of disappointments, lies, tragedies, stress, financial issues, pressure in your work or home life, etc. Believe me when I say you will feel so much better and be able to focus on life as it is without the feeling of failure. You are a beautiful person and there are so many out there that need you here for more reasons than you even know. You are loved and you are special. Maybe not the millions like Robin Williams but to more people than you probably realize. If you know someone struggling reach out to them... Dont ignore the signs because you dont want to be nosy or intrude.... You may be the one that could save that person from falling into that dark hole with no light in sight.
