I feel so giddy and ready for the week and those final exams. So after sleeping well past 4 am this morning,,, I was dead to my alarm that went off about four hours later. Meaning I missed mass. :-( I decided all was not lost. Id attend the evening mass. So I just got to church about fifteen minutes ago. Disappointment. I found the church compound so silent and with no sign of life. I walked to the huge double doors.Locked. All three pairs. I walked away dejected after trying the last un -budging door. I felt realllllly really bad. Then a car drove into the compound. The two occupants called this disappointed madam. I figured God wouldnt bring me to an empty, closed church so I could be the victim of ax murderers happening to be driving around the church. So I went closer and they introduced themselves as Father James and Father someone else whose name I forget. I explained my predicament and they told me with all the services going on this Easter,, theyve given the catechists and everyone else a break to rest. BUT,,, therell be mass tomorrow at 7 am. I know Ill sleep at dawn again so itll be impossible. Sigh. And Im up for a hellish week of exams starting Tuesday. So the priest whose name I forget asks me to bow down and he puts his hands on my head and he prays for me right there on the driveway. Blessings. Then of course I walk away beaming. Exam week,,, Here I Come!!!!!!! Amanda Jane,,,,, Kayray is just about done making you proud!!!!!! Thank you Lord for your unending mercies.
