I feel sorry for this young man and his family because he made a mistake of stealing that led to his death but I do not think that this incident was racially motivated. I understand everyone elses opinion on the situation and I respect it because we dont know what really happened. But I believe in evidence. I believe if I was a cop and I was going to find a boy who had stolen from a convenient store and if he was fighting for my gun, I would shoot him in self defense. After being shot and running away, he obviously turned back and came back for the police officer. (since the shots entered the front of his body and since there were plenty who testified to that) I do know there are white cops who use their badge to an advantage to hurt and even kill black people but I also know that not all cops are bad. Just like not all black people are criminals and not all white people are racist. I know that cops deal with horrific situations and ALWAYS have to be on guard of their own lives and civilians should understand that. Either way of what the truth really is, its a sad case and cant be changed. The rioting and violence that is going on in Ferguson is pure ignorance. And only making matters worse.
