I feel the need to brag.... In this day--it seems like when you watch the news, some big time sports athlete, sports manager, or coach is in some kinda trouble. WELL....today--I had the DISTINCT HONOR to be invited to come photograph and share in the delicious meal that the McRae-Helena Fire Association sponsored for the TCHS Trojan Football Team and their coaches. This was the 2nd Annual Meal prepared and served BY YOUR FIRE DEPARTMENT. Our Football Trojans were very well behaved, they cleaned up after themselves, they were not rowdy, they thanked all of the Fire Fighters, and they thanked ME--many HUGGED ME--and I am proud of the young men that they have become. (I still dont know why they were thanking me--they ALL KNOW they do not want to eat MY COOKING) With me boasting on the graciousness of the football team, I have to brag on their parents and THEIR COACHES for setting GREAT EXAMPLES that these young men will carry with them for the rest of the days of their life. We do appreciate you for shaping these players into FINE YOUNG MEN. NOW with that being said....Leave your nice-ness in the locker room and Trojans go BEAT the stuffing out of some VIKINGS tonight.
