I feel the need to share with you the loss of a wonderful woman, the mother of 2 of my dear friends who live in AZ. There Mom was a regular user of the medicine PLAVIX-the blood thinner. Yesterday she slipped and fell at a store in AZ...she hit her head but was conscious when the ambulance arrived. Just prior to arriving at the hospital, she slipped out of consciousness. After tests were done, the Doctor at the emergency room informed the family that there was nothing they could do...because she took PLAVIX. She was bleeding in her brain and there was absolutely nothing they could do for her, because of her taking that drug. They could only make her comfortable. She passed away at 8:00am this moring.I m not sure if there is anyone out there that I know that in turn knows someone that is also taking this drug, but if you do, Heads up...the warnings about it are definitely true, as my friends Renee and Steph know all too well now. I am so very sad for them both and her husband, and friends. Any prayers you may have to offer would be greatly aprreciated.
