I feel the need to vent but also apologize: After an entire day of running animals to vets, placing animals in their new forever homes, animals into foster homes, ect. A full day of doing what is best for the animals. I come back through town to go home and walking down the side walk is a young boy literally swinging a brown miniature Schnauzer puppy around on his leash! Treating the poor thing like a YO YO! Including but not limited to a complete circle over his head!!!! I immediately am infuriated, slam on my brakes as I pull to the side rolling my window down. And in probably a more than stern voice told the kid he had better not EVER do that again! And then proceeded to inform him of all that could happen to the poor dog including death, and how no animal deserves that treatment! Needless to say I probably scared the crap out of him. He picked up the poor puppy and walked down the sidewalk. My apology goes to the traffic (and especially the silver truck behind me, whom I am sure said a few things to me in a more than stern voice) that I neglected to think about when coming to such a sudden stop! For that I am truly sorry, and hope that by chance that person gets to read this and understand why. :(
