I feel the that the greatest way to improve your lifts - TopicsExpress

I feel the that the greatest way to improve your lifts (intermediate or better) is to go back and watch videos of your lifts. Ive been watching my squats and I can see different little things I can adjust and what I do differently. I am going to watch my bench videos as I have hurt my shoulder (Hence the reason for no videos this lats week.). It was to the point that I could barely pull my seat belt over and buckle it. So, I havent been to the gym. This sucks as my meet is less than 5 weeks out. Ive been tucking my elbow into my side (as much as I can) and Im not sure if its because of that or from having to un rack the bar myself. It does put a huge strain on it. Ive watched a few other people with BPI or one-arm and see how they are benching. The elbow is more flared and Jay (@bpi_athelete on IG) says he does that so it utilize the upper (i think he said) pec to help. So, I hope to go in tonight or Sunday and test it out with lighter weight. Hopefully my shoulder isnt hurt too much. If its the delt, Im okay with that, I just dont want it to be a rotator cuff. Other than that, my squats are doing well and I hope (havent tried), my shoulder issue doesnt mess with my deadlifts. #ddt308 #chasing1000total
