I feel very disrespected knowing that I can be chased into the parking lot of a restaurant by the manager over more money. I went to lunch with grandma and a good family friend and it was great, the service was good and so was the food. So after we dined and talked and was merry we paid our bill and had our dessert and left. Not even a few seconds after we walk out the door the manager chases us out to our car and simply tells ME to come back and pay a tip or as he called it gratuity fee. He said that customers are required to pay a gratuity fee in his restaurant and that if we didnt pay it we would not be allowed to come back to the establishment. I went and paid the fee, but then left it on the table and left and went home. NEVER in my life have I seen such arrogance and greed. What restaurant manager do YOU know chases customers into the parking lot if they dont leave money on the table and tells them they are required to pay this random fee. I didnt see anyone else being asked to pay this fee. Of course we were the only minorities in the restaurant, but still very sketchy! Needless to say they have lost a customer. You dont do stuff like that!
