I feel very sad that the issue of Kiambu finance bill has been politicised and trivialised too much. I do agree some things in the bill are not right but this is just a proposal. we the county assembly members have received the bill and its currently committed to the finance commitee for thorough scrutiny and to ensure engagement with the populace through public hearings and eventually we shall make ammendments factoring in all views expressed. My humble request is that lets engage in constructive criticism and be specific on the areas we would like changed in the bill. If we keep on trivialising the bill, we will miss the opportunity to give views on what we want changed since what we have is a working document. I assure you the bill is in safe hands and we as MCAs is our duty to make it friendly to Wanjiku in Kiambu. My humble plea.
