I felt compelled to explain to some folks as to why I posted the status I did yesterday. To begin, I have a right to my opinion and views alike we all do. I understand completely not everyone if anyone at all may agree in whole or in part. I removed the post because it was my feeling and opinion it was getting to a point where people were beginning to make comments suggestive of personal attacks. Now mind you, I dont do such to anyone else on their statuses therefore I expect the same in return on mine. Im genuinely concerned with the education system here in this community and beyond. Lets face it, this community has endured and experienced a lot of change, controversy as well has shown signs of being completely dysfunctional amongst school boards and administrators. Two districts in Dutchess County lost superintendents that were with both respective districts for a very short period. Now, what is that all about? What is that tell you or suggest? I dont even want to begin to speculate or even guess as to why these superintendents resigned. Ive been back in this area now 6 years. Wappingers alone is now looking for their 4th one since Ive returned to New York. Im fine, perfectly fine with people disagreeing with my views as it pertains to Common Core. Some of you that commented made excellent arguments while others not so. Im sure the general opinion is it is felt that why fix something that isnt broke, or why disturb or upset the status quo? And thats fine too. But seriously folks, in the future, if your going to comment, please dont come across as some of you did in the future? I dont do it to anyone else. (y) Peace - Out (y)
