I felt the need to post tonight why I love Park Forest. I came home from the hospital late yesterday afternoon after having a total knee replacement. I was home less then two hours when my neighbor Suzzie called to check on me and was surprised when I answered the phone. She had waited for my husbands car to return to call and ask about me. She said the neighbors across the street had called her asking about me. She said she wanted to bring soup over which she did today and it was sooo good! Dont have much of an appetite, but things still taste good! Especially her soup! The neighbors Pat and Bob had left me their phone number to call them if I needed anything. Even though Pat had her replacement October 28th! The point Im trying to make here is all of Park Forest use to be like this when we were growing up. But I still have that here on my block. I feel so blessed and full of gratitude. Good neighbors make a difference! Thank you Suzzie, Pat, and Bob!
