I figured it out you guys. I was watching this thing about Worlds Strongest Man (because I LOVE that competition) and I got annoyed when the reporter guy was trying to do an obstacle course workout with a strongest mans son that was - oh, anyway, you get the picture. It was so much like when reporters do a story on derby and they want to put on gear and pretend theyre playing (and in the early days more than one of the male reporters put on fishnets and a skirt, too, which made my blood pressure go through the roof). BUT THEN IT WASNT LIKE THAT, it was similar but far more respectful because the dude was actually trying to learn how to TRAIN like Icelands worlds strongest men, rather than having some skinny douche show up at their competition and pretend to lift cars and basically clown on them like reporters have done to us. Perhaps theyre more respectful because the viking giants will crush their puny reporters, but still. I think the next time a reporter comes to do a story, we should ask them to just train with us. On skates, off skates... lets pretend were athletes and not a sideshow. Im so glad the days of stories like that about derby are almost over (and even though its been years Im still mad about it), and stuff like the recent ESPN is more common. Anyway, Worlds Strongest Man is awesome. youtu.be/8A7woRoVwyM
