I figured you venomous guys would enjoy this conversation I had this morning with this.....ummmm.... gentleman. This is a conversation this morning, from someone who wanted to buy the Burmese python I have for sell. I DO NOT understand people these days. Im wondering if his brain is frozen on jackass mode due to it being cold outside. This person claimed to have experience with reptiles buy mostly with small lizards. Enjoy So, you want to buy the burm, I have for sale thats great. Oh, you wanna meet me by the airport, ok which one. Im only asking $150, but you want me to drive to the Denver airport and drop the price to $50. Ha ha. Nice try. Oh yes I will take $125. But Im still not driving to the Denver airport. I can ship as long as its in state. Oh your leaving today and you want to put him in your carry on so you can take him to Nebraska? Im sorry. I dont feel comfortable with this. Why, you ask? Well 1) is I care about the animals I sell, so I dont think, No excuse me, I know that the snake would probably not be to comfortable in your bag. 2) Its against the law for you to take that animal over state lines bc of the Lacy act. Oh I understand you wont say anything, I guess if I was breaking the law I wouldnt say anything either. However, Im worried about my animal as well as my integrity. Well thank you, for not ratting me out. See, Im not asking you to not rat me out bc Im not meeting you at the Airport in Denver and even if I was willing to drive up there right now. I still do not want my snake to be in your gym bag for even an hour. Yes, I understand you really want him. Thats great, but I am not comfortable with this at all. I did say I would ship him, if its in state and it gets warmer outside. NO I will not ship him to Nebraska. Have you ever owned a snake before? Oh, so you have 10 years expwrience with reptiles in general. Ok, I was just curious. You ask if he is poisonous and thats why I wont ship? Well now that you asked, yes thats part of it my Burmese python than constricts its food before it eats it is poisonous. And I can not and will not ship him to you or let you take him on board with you to Nebraska. Oh its very deadly POISON. they call them 2 steps, bc you get bitten then take 2 steps and your dead. Oh yes, when you come back I will consider you for another baby burm. Thank you for your interest in my poisonous burmese python. Yes, if I change my mind and decide to break the law and blow my integrity I will ship him to you. Yes I will do it for $100. Yes, I definitely, think its worth it. I mean who wouldnt think it was worth a $10k fine and some jail time? Once again, thank you for the interest and I will definitely keep you in mind when I have more babies.
