I finally did it! I heard, ASHLEY! ASHLEY! I put on my shoes and jacket and went to talk to the caller. I have a better understanding of why it is hard for him to let go of her. He (Nick) is raising their daughter; a living daily reminder of his lost love. He says she has two other children. I wonder who has the third because only one lives next door with her. I just approached him as a concerned human being, not angry or upset. He asked if he was disturbing the peace. I shook my head, just responded that, It is more of an issue in the summer when people sleep with their windows open. He and their daughter live with his mom. I asked him if he could let her go. He said, No. Never. I told him that some times you just have to, no matter how hard it is. I told him to see me if he needed to talk. He asked my name and gave me his and rode off on his bicycle.
