I finally felt up to watching this. BRAVO, John Oliver, and your team of writers and researchers. You just summed up in 15 minutes what I didnt do nearly as well, nor with as much eloquence and directness, in the thirty pages of my UWB senior thesis. The SIV program *is* a bureaucratic clusterf*ck, to say the least. A shout-out to all of the dear friends I was so fortunate to make through TLP, both Iraqi interpreters and my fellow/sister American volunteers. We may now lead lives that take us in different directions, but not a day goes by that I dont think of you with love, respect and profound gratitude. ♥
