I finally finished a book I have been reading for at least four months--I would only read it when I went to Starbucks for coffee and If I got talking --- no reading was done. It was an interesting read and it pertained to Chicago during the building and running of the Worlds fair in the late 1800s--so it was similar to history and also a murder mystery as their was a serial killer in Chicago at the same time. The Name of it is; the Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. It was a very good read and I enjoyed the way they put the buildings up for the worlds fair and their struggles. I do not think that even in our day and age and equipment that we have, that we could overcome their obstacles. Read it if you have not. Grampa Ed, Retired--Author in the making
