I finally finished my hood. I put so much time and love into this, words fail me to say how much fun (and frustration!) I put into making this. It started with my grandmother buying me the rainbow fabric, and it was so perfect I almost cried when she bought it for me. I needed to make something really special out of it. So I started this spirit hood. I based the whole design of this hood around the fabric. Because the fabric really spoke to me, it was very easy for me to pour my soul into designing this. Its got 4 pockets and its reversible so can have the rainbow fabric on the outside. The feathers took me about 5-6 hours of embroidery, plus the embroidery on the scarf, and attaching the spots. Overall I probably have over 20+ hours of work into this over the course of two weeks or so. I still need to name her.
